一、教学内容
    Go for it(八年级上)Unit8 How was your school trip?
Section A from la to 2c
二、设计思路
    本单元How was your school trip?是Go for it八年级上册中的第八单元。本单元谈论的话题是school trips.本节课通过两个任务的完成,引导学生运用过去时态谈论过去发生的事情,在完成任务的过程中,综合运用目标语言,并通过与他人的合作交流,提高与他人的合作意识。整个教学过程,倡导用自主,参与,合作,交流,实践,探究的学习方式和任务型的教学途径培养学生综合运用语言的能力,任务的设计由易到难,由模拟任务到真实任务,完成语言学习及运用的过程。
三、教学目标
1、知识目标
    理解和使用相关语言词汇,Shark, seal, aquarium, gift,souvenir,hang out和重点句子Did you…... Were there……?
2、能力目标
    掌握如何应用过去时态谈论过去发生的事情,并综合运用语言的能力。
3、情感目标
    通过小组合作学习和对话练习,培养学生的合作精神;通过介绍My school trip last summer vacation,并让学生组织一个instructive school trip,引导学生关爱他人。
四、学习策略
1、培养学生自主学习的能力。
2、通过合作学习,启发学生的思维,培养学生的语言表达能力和合作精神。
3、有效地利用学习资源。
五、教学过程

Lead  in: Talk  about  the  activities in the past(last Sunday, last National Day, last summer vacation)
Purpose: let students review the past tense learnt already and lead in the new topic.
Step 1
Show the pictures of animals and present the new words by introducing the aquarium.
Students show their views of their favorite animals and read the new the new words.
Step 2
Tell the students Tina went on a school trip. Where did she go? Did she see any sharks? Were there any seals?
Students listen and circle the expressions in 1b.
Task 1: talk about the picture. about Tina and her friends.
Purpose: let students learn to use the new words and the structures “Did you……? Were there……?
Step 3
Show the students the photos of Tina and her friends. Ask “What did they do? How was their school trip?”
Students listen and judge the statements (True or false) in 2b.
Task 2: make a discussion in groups. Which event in the past gave you a deep impression? Write something about it and then choose a reporter to tell us the result.
Purpose: let the students learn to use the past tense to describe their own experience in the past.
Step 4
Tell the students something about “My school trip last summer vacation to the poor village schools”.
Students listen and show their concern and love to those students in the poor village schools.
Homework: organize an instructive school trip and go for it. After the trip , please write a diary about it.
