(注:三年级上下册即PEP1和PEP2,五年级下册即PEP6)

一、        教学内容:
五年级下册Unit 5  Look at the monkeys Part A Let’s talk
二、        教学目标:
1. 能听懂、会说句型:What is she / it / he doing?    She / It / He is…
2. 能听懂、认读对话。
3. 能在情景中正确运用所学句型:What is it/he/she doing?
4. 通过教育学生热爱动物,渗透爱护动物的思想教育。
三、 教学重点:
能听懂、会说句型:What is she / it / he doing?    She / It / He is…
四、 教学难点:
能在实际情景中正确运用句型:What is she / it / he doing?    She / It / He is…
五、课前准备:
Chenjie 和Amy的头饰。
六、教学步骤:
(一). Warm up:
1. Greetings
(复习句子:What about you?并为新课的句型:What about the baby elephant?作准备)
2. Let’s say and do
(review the words: walking, swimming, running, flying, jumping)
(二). Presentation:
1. 情景导入对话, 初步感知主要句型。
T:Boys and girls, do you like animals?
Ss: Yes.
T: Now our animal friends come. Let’s go to the zoo. Welcome to the happy zoo.
T: I see the bird. It’s flying.
T: Who? ( T point to the elephant )
Ss:The elephant.
T: I see the elephant. Can you guess what is it doing?(师板书句型,并带读)
Ss:It’s walking.
T: Who? ( T point to the tiger )
Ss:The tiger.
T: What is it doing?
Ss: It’s running.
……
( Practise to use the important sentences: What is it doing? It’s …)
2. 引出教学内容。
T:Now, It’s sunny today. Chenjie and Amy are visiting the zoo too. What are they seeing? Let’s listen.
3. 课件出示两头大象。
T:She is mother elephant, What is she doing?
(此处学生的回答容易出现It’s … ,教师要注意纠正,应是She’s …)
T: What about the baby elephant? What is it doing?
Ss: It’s …
4. 学习并巩固Let’s talk.
(a) Ss read after the record for twice.
(b) Group practice.
(c) Pair practice.
(d) s-s practice in the front of the class.( try to close the book)       
(e) Read together.
(三). Consolidation and extension:
Make a new dialogue according to the given pictures.
T:Chenjie and Amy go on visiting. Look, What are they seeing?It’s your time to make a new dialogue.
