Unit 4 Where’s my schoolbag?
课型:Listening and speaking
时间:45minutes
教材内容:Section A (1a-2c)
Target language 目标语言
1. Words 生词
table, bed, bookcase, sofa, chair, schoolbag, book, key, desk, hat, room
2. Key sentences 重点句子
Where’s…?  It’s in/on/under…
Where’re…? They’re in/on/under…
Is it in/on/under…? Yes, it is./No, it isn’t.
Are they in/on/under…? Yes, they are./ No, they aren’t.
Language goals 语言技能目标
Enable students to talk about where things are.
Strategy goals 学习策略目标
1. With the help of different forms of contexts and tasks, enable students to understand new words.
2. Enable students to communicate with partners by using target languages.
Emotional and attitude goals 情感态度目标
Enable students to talk about where the things are placing in their rooms and to keep their room clean and tidy..
Teaching important / difficult points 教学重难点
1. To ask others where the things you can’t find.
2. Proper use of the prepositions: in, on, under
Teaching aids 教具准备
A multi-media room.
Teaching procedures and methods 教学过程与方式
Step 1ead-in
Greet to the students and introduce myself.
Brainstorm: To get the Ss to talk about the furniture in their houses.
Step 2: Learn by themselves for 5mins. And finish the words exercises.
Step 3: Presentation 1
Show students different pictures of new words.
Step 4: Presentation 2
Show Ss a picture of the desk and three balls and get them to know how to express the positions of the balls.
Step 5: To talk about the picture of the teacher’s room.
Step 6: Practice
Show them four pictures and get them to speak out the positions of the things.
Step 7 Role-playing
Practice with their partners with the following sentences:
1)---Where’s …?
     ---It’s in/on/under the…
2)---Where’re…?
     ---They’re in /on /under the…

Step 8: Cooperating and exploring
To finish 1a in 1min with the members of the group and them to explore the request of the listening tasks in 1b, 2a and 2b. Three mins later, they are going to do the listening tasks.
Step 9: Listening 1
Get the Ss to listen to the tape for two times, the first times they just listen and the second time
they are going to number the things in 1b.
Step 10: Listening 2
Get the Ss to listen to the tape for three times, for the first time they just listen, for the second time they finish 2a, and for the third time they finish 2b.
Step 11: Ask and answer with the following sentence patterns according to the pictures in slide.
1). Is it on the table?
     Yes, it is./ No, it isn’t.
2). Are they in the bookcase?
     No, they aren’t./ No, they aren’t.
Step 12 Summary
Sentences:
1). Where’s …? It’s in/on/under…
2). Where’re…? They’re in/on/under…
3). Is it on the table?
  Yes, it is./ No, it isn’t.
4). Are they in the bookcase?
   No, they aren’t./ No, they aren’t.
Words:
1. Furniture: bed, sofa, table, chair, desk, bookcase
2. Things: schoolbag, books, keys, hat, computer game, ruler, pencil box,
3. Prep.:  in    在…里面
        on    在…上面
      under   在…下面
Step 13: Exercises
Step 14: Homework
1.识记所学新单词
2.设计你理想的房间并加以文字描述 ,包括家具和物品所摆放的位置以及色调的搭配.

今天的课上的一般,同学们在配合上还是有点欠缺,少部分的同学参入到课堂任务中来了,还有一部分是没有参与的。在 以后的教学中需要改进,使自己的课堂更有趣味性,更能吸引学生的注意力,提高他们的学习兴趣。

另外,在课堂进行中也要注意一个问题,开始课堂不要太过于放松,那么课堂时间的把握上容易出现前松后紧的现象。
