五年级PEP英语下册第六单元A Field Trip

第一课时教学设计

一、教材分析:

教学Let’s  learn(A)部分呈现的是一幅郊游图,图中引出了本课要求重点掌握的动词短语taking pictures,watching insects, picking up leaves, doing an experiment,catching butterflies。图中的问答, 是在郊游情境图中产生的,目的是让学生通过看图问答巩固所学的动词短语,同时了解并掌握这些单词的现在分词形,本课名词的复数形式对学生来讲也是一个难点。

二、学生分析:

    五年级的学生已经接触过两年的英语,掌握了基本的口语交能力,同学之间能够进行简单的会话。本课重在充分利用生活中的实物,激发学生的学习兴趣,让他们在所创设的情境中能够更好地融入到课堂教学中,从而将所学内容熟练运用到生活中。

三、设计思路:

针对五年级学生的学习习惯及对英语的接触,结合英语课程标准指出的以学生的发展为宗旨,以培养学生的综合能力为目标,重点培养学生学习英语的兴趣及其自信心,养成学生主动学英语的习惯,有效的结合学生学习英语的能力,我采用听、说、读、唱融于一体的教学手段,将单词、句型灵活运用,达到教学目的。

四、三维目标:

  1、能够听、说、读、写本课动词短语:taking pictures,watching insects, picking up leaves, doing an experiment,catching butterflies.

  2、能够听、说、认读 “What’s Sarah doing? She’s doing an experiment.”并能在情景中运用。

  3、培养学生的合作意识。

  4、能说唱歌谣,并理解其含义。

  5、结合本课内容,引导学生学会热爱大自然,爱护大自然,树立正确的环保意识。

五、教学重点:

  1、Let’s learn部分的动词短语的ing形式:taking pictures,watching insects,picking up leaves,doing an experiment,catching butterflies。

  2、在情景中使用对话中的句子,并能恰当的替换句中的动词短语。

  3、听、说、读、写动词短语:taking pictures,watching insects, picking up leaves, doing an experiment,catching butterflies。

六、教学难点:

1、词汇量较大,catch和watch易混淆;butterflies和experiment较长;insects的发音较难。

2、本课时动词短语中的名词复数形式,如:pictures,insects,leaves,butterflies。

  七、课前准备:

  1、教学过程中所需的录音(let’s learn, Let’s play)、课件、点读机。

2、本课时(let’s learn部分)的五张单词短语的图片和卡片,盒子,照相机,树叶,昆虫标本玩具,一些小礼品。

八、 Teaching steps:

    Step 1 Warm-up

    1.Greetings:Hello,boys and girls,nice to meet you.

    2.Are you happy today?Now let's sing and chant together.

    3.T:Loot at the dog on the screen,what's the dog doing?Ss:The dog is eating and reading.T:Look at me,what am I doing? Ss:You are writing.T:Good job!

    (设计意图:通过互相问候、歌曲和对前面所学内容的复习,既巩固了所学知识,又能让学生立刻进入上课的状态之中。)

     Step 2 Presentation

  1. T:What's the weather like today?Ss:Warm and sunny. T:Great,now look at the picture of Mickey on the screen.The sky is blue, the grass is green,the air is clean.It's a beautiful day.Do you know what they are doing?T help the Ss answer:They are going on a field trip.Then write the title on the board.

   (设计意图:通过天气和环境的描述,从而引出本科的标题。)

2.T:Look at Mike and his friends.What are they doing?Ss:They are going on a field trip.T:Wonderful.

    3.T:Show a camera and say:It's a camera,if we have a field trip,we can take it.Then take a picture for them.T:I'm taking a picture,now look at Zhang Peng,what'he doing?T help the Ss answer:He is taking pictures.Put up the phrase, and write :take--taking.Then listen and read.

    4.T:Look at the screen,what's this?It's a butterfly,read together.Now there are some butterflies.They are flying.Look,a boy is coming.What's he doing?He is catching butterflies.Put up the phrase.Listen and read together.Now look at Chen Jie.What's she doing?Ss:She is catching butterflies.Read and write:catch--catching.

    5.Show a leaf,T:What's this?It'a leaf,I have many leaves,the leaves comes from the tree.Look at Wu Yifan,where is he?  Ss:He is in the tree.T:Good.He is picking up leaves. Put up the phrase.Write:pick--picking,then read.

    6.T:Look at the picture on the screen,what are they doing?Ss can answer in Chinese,T:Yes,they are doing an experiment .Put up the phrase.Read and write:do—doing.What’s Sarah doing?She is doing an experiment

    7.Show some samples about insects.T:What's this? Ss:It's a bee.T:Great,it's an insect.Show a magnifier,look,I'm watching insects.Put up the phrase,read and write:watch--watching.T:What’s Mike doing?Ss:He is watching insects.

    8.Look at all the pictures,ask and answer.

     (设计意图:通过幻灯片和实物的展示,具有不同的视觉效果,学生感到很新鲜,更加贴近他们的生活,从而使他们易学、易懂、易接受。)

    Step 3 Let's read

    1.Show the pictures about the phrases.First follow the teacher,then read together,at last read one by one,speak loudly.

    2.Read the phrase,if I speak loudly,they speak lowly,if I speak lowly,they speak loudly.

    (设计意图:通过不同的朗读方式,提高学生的学习兴趣及读、说的能力,从而加强对词语的记忆。)

    Step 4 Let's play

    1.T:Look at my mouth and guess.If he is right and he is the first one, give a star to him.

    2.Put up the pictures about the phrases,T:Close your eyes and guess:What's missing?If he is right and the first one, give a star,too.

    3.T:I have two boxes,the first box is about the full names,the second box is about the actions.I need two students, please come here,take out a card,ask and answer,e.g:What's Yao Ming doing?Yao Ming is watching insects.What's Sun     Wukong doing? What's Lan Yangyang doing?And so on.There are some presents in them.If you are a lucky boy or a lucky girl,you can make a sentence,and give chance again.

    (设计意图:围绕本课的五个重点短语,通过不同的操练方式不断的巩固,其中结合的人物也有他们所熟悉和喜欢看的,从而进一步激发了他们的学习兴趣,本环节充分体现了在学中玩,在玩中学。)

    Step 5 Make a chant

    Look at the screen,follow the teacher,then read together:

    Picture,pictures,taking pictures.

    Butterfly,butterflies,catching butterflies.

    Leaf,leaves,picking up leaves.

    Experiment,experiments,doing an experiment.

    Insect,insects,watching insects.

    Do you like a field trip?

    Yes, we do.

    (设计意图:自编的chant朗朗上口,既点到了现在分词,也点到了名词的复数,进一步强调本课的重点,学生也易读、易记。)

    Step 6 Extend the phrases

    T:Look at the screen,there are some pictures,have a try and say:The girl is catching the fish,the farmer is picking up   watermelons,Mei Yangyang is watching insects and so on.Let them know:Love the nature,love the life.

    (设计意图:充分把所学知识运用到生活当中,让学生体会热爱自然就是热爱生活。)

    Step 7 Homework

    1.Copy the phrases five times.

    2.Remember the phrases.

    3.Make some dialogs.
