2、掌握how 引导的特殊疑问句及其回答。

教学目标
语言知识与技能目标:(1)能对交通方式进行提问,如:How do you get to…? How does he /she go to…? (2) 能用英语表达多种交通方式,如:walk, take the bus /train/subway, by boat / bus /train /plane, ride the bike/… (3) 能就所需时间进行问答,如: How long does it take? It takes about 25 minutes. (4) 掌握词汇:get to, bicycle ,subway, car, train, ride, minute, transportation
学习策略目标:(1) 交际策略:通过pairwork 和 interview, 帮助学生实现语言的交际和交流,让学生参与课堂学习,提高课堂教学效率。(2)鼓励学生利用多种资源收集各种交通工具的表达法。(3)认知策略:积极进行口语实践。
情感与态度目标:(1)通过谈论与交通运输有关的话题,进一步促进学生之间的相互了解,有利于学生在轻松、和谐的学习氛围中掌握新知。
教学重点
词汇:get to, bicycle ,subway, car, train, ride, minute, transportation
话题:用“How do you /does he get to…/go to…?” 句型谈论交通方式; 用“How long does it take?” 谈论路途所花的时间。
教学难点
(1)正确区别并运用多种交通方式的表达法,如:ride a bike to school,go to school by bike, etc.
(2)掌握how 引导的特殊疑问句及其回答。

Students watch a short movie
导入:How does the football player get to the football field?
StepⅡ.Prsentation
1.Students listen to different kinds of sound and guess.
2.<ppt> T: What’s one plus ten/four plus ten/…?
(Teach: forty fifty sixty seventy eighty ninety hundred in this way)
3.Lucky numbers
T: Choose your lucky number and see what gift you can get.
(Teach the means of transportation with the pictures under the numbers)
3.Show the pictures and teach: take a subuay, ride a bike, walk , take a bus etc.
StepⅢ. Practice
1.Finish 1a .
Took at the picture .Make a list of how the students get to school in the morning .Then add other ways to get to school.
2.Listening
T: Here are many students in the picture.Which one is Bob /Paul/ John/ Mary/ Yang Lan? Listen and match
3.Pairwork:Talk about the students in 1b
e.g.A:How does Bob get to school?
B:He takes the train.
StepⅣ.Presentation and practice
1.T: I usually take the car to school,but sometimes I walk.How long does it take?
It takes 15 minutes by car and 30 miutes by bus.
How about you? How long does it take?
(Ask some students to answer the questions)
2.Groupwork:

1.Pre-listening
Guess:How long does it take by train/subway/…?
2.Finish 2c : Match the time with the kinds of transportation and check the answers.
3.Post-listening
Help students to say like this
It takes around forty minutes by train.
It takes around thirty –five minutes by subway.
StepⅥ. Make a survey
1.    Students interview some of the classmates
Use these two questions:
How do you get to school?
How long does it take?
2.Report like this: Tom usually takes a bus to school.
It takes him about 20 minutes.

Level 1.Finish 2b on Page 20
Level 2.Collect more pictures of  transportations and show it  in  class.
Level 3.Interview  your friends where his/her favourite place is and how to get there. Then write a composition.
教学反思与设计亮点:
以电影片段开始这一节课,既调动了学生的学习兴趣,又为后面学习交通工具埋下了伏笔。
在闯关游戏中学生轻松地掌握了各种交通工具的表达法,化枯燥的词汇教学为快乐的习得。
用第三人称对图内的人物进行问答,既是对听力内容的消化与运用,又是对本单元重点句型的操练与使用,可谓一举两得。
创设情景,让学生以小记者的身份采访同学,使用交通工具的情况操练本课的重点句型,使得交际更真实。
这一环节拓展了学生的词汇量。
这一任务使学生喜欢说又有话可说,把这节课推上了高潮,达到了学以致用的目的。
