学情分析
八年级学生相对而言还是比较活泼好动,求知欲强,接受能力较强。课堂上,他们能够进行多人合作学习。今天教学的“I’m going to be a basketball player.”谈论将要从事的职业,会比较贴近学生的现实生活,容易被学生接受。同时引导学生利用所学知识,针对自身情况进行讨论,让他们在“做”中学英语,我相信会产生浓厚的学习兴趣的。
学习内容分析
人教版《义务教育课程标准实验教科书  英语(新目标)》Go for it! 8A  Unit10 I’m going to be a basketball player.本课是这一单元的一节新授课,学生已经在七年级学过部分关于职业的单词,为了拓展和教学,本课新知识给学生创设了一个更轻松的学习氛围。
在这节堂课上,我以课本所提供的基本话题、句型结构为基础,按照自己的思路和学生的兴趣爱好,设计了这一课时的内容。

学习目标
Knowledge objects:
Words and expressions: computer programmer, professional, engineer, pilot
Key sentences: What are you going to be when you grow up?
  I’m going to be a computer programmer.
Ability objects:
Enable the students to use Make conversations in pairs
A: What are you going to be when you grow up?
B: I am going to be a/an…
A: How are you going to do that?
B:  I am going to …
A: When are you going to start?
B: I am going to start …
A: Where are you going to move?      
B:  I am going to work in …
to talk about future intentions.
Improve the students’ abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing.
Moral objects:
Great dreams make a great man.
No one succeeds without hard work.
Team spirit.
设计意图
我制定此目标的依据是:新目标特征之一要求学生由过去的语言学习者(language  learners)变成现在语言使用者,(language  users)。
通过单词-短语-两人合作对话-小组合作情景表演等形式,使学生对本单元的内容由点到线再到面的进行巩固掌握。
重难点分析

Difficult points: the usage of the Future Tense

重点单词短语通过猜,听,读这一环节来呈现,对于难点通过对话、调查、情景表演等环节来得到强化。

Introduce myself. Talk about the jobs my family members do. Explain the word “job”.

Free talk with the teacher.

Listen to the teacher and guess what’s the meaning of the word “job”..

多种方式呈现新知

游戏教学
Step 2 Presentation
Show some pictures, let the students guess what are the jobs in pictures, try to make the students speak out the new words.
(多媒体依次以吸引学生多样化方式呈现本单元的重要单词)

Make a list of new words and read it. Ask students to read them one by one.

Guessing game. Guess the correct answers of the questions.  


Look at the screen.
Guess the words in the pictures.

Answer and repeat.

Make conversations in pairs

Listen and think. Answer the questions.



Work in pairs to make conversations.
Listen and check.

引导学生自己理解将来时的用法和意义。



创设情景,让学生在结对活动的中,表演、运用、展示所学的新知识。



通过听力进一步巩固单词和句型。

Every group gets some cards and according to the cards, make conversations in groups.

Listen to Cheng han’s plan, and fill in the chart.

Do some exercises to remember the sentences.
Discuss with their group members and make conversations.

Fill in the chart.

Retell the plan.
参与3人小组对话或活动,相互交流,互帮互助,合作完成任务,培养团队精神,更好地掌握本课所学知识.

通过听力理解新句型。


进一步练习了 “ be going to”的用法以及本单元的重点语句。
