第一课时
一、教学目标
1.知识目标:
能听、说、认读long hair,short hair,strong,thin,quiet,friends.
2.能力目标:运用My friend is strong.He has short hair.等句子向别人介绍自己的朋友及其特征。
3.情感目标:对学生进行关心朋友,朋友间要互相信任,互相帮助的思想教育。
二、教学重难点
1、重点是词汇:hair, thin, strong, quiet,friends. 句型:Who’s he/she? He \She has … He\She is …
2、难点是词汇发音:friends,thin ,quiet;以及句子Who is he?He\She has…She\He is …
三.教具准备:
1.Amy, Chen Jie, Wu Yifan,Zhang Peng的面具.

四.教学过程
出示Amy 和Chen Jie的图片,把班级分为Amy和Chen Jie两组。对朗读情况好的个人和小组加分。
(一)热身/复习(Warm-up/Revision)
1.播放三年级下unit 6 A let`s chant。结合动作复习单词big, small, long, short, tall。
2、出示big\small,short\long,she\he,tall\short几组竞猜图片。
(二)呈现新课 (Presentation)
1.游戏快要结束时,出示quiet单词卡,通过手势让学生理解其意。让学生跟读,贴在黑板上,慢读并强调quiet的发音。再把Chen Jie 的面具贴到这个单词前。引出Chen Jie \She is quiet.
2、继续指着Chen Jie的面具,教师说Look at Chen Jie.She has long hair ,一边说一边做动作帮助学生理解。教学long hair,并举例及强调she\he has 的使用。
3、教师出示Amy的面具,问:Who is she?Does she have long hair?引导学生回答:She has short hair. (一边说一边做动作帮助学生理解)教学short hair,举例说明。
4、让学生看着面具在教师的提示下学说:She has long hair. She has short hair. They are friends. 教学friends。班级及个人操练句子She has long hair. She has short hair. They are friends.
4、教师顺势指着班里很瘦和长得很健壮的同学说 :Are they friends? He has short hair.And he is thin. But he is strong.并让学生指着班里的同学说这两句话。教师出示单词卡教读thin和strong。教师要提醒学生在读thin时,注意咬舌尖儿。出示张鹏和吴一凡的面具,问what about them?who is thin?who is strong?
5、出示PPT说,He is talking about his friend with Mike. Who is John`s friend? Who is he ? look at the PPT,let`s listen and find him. 板书who is he ?导入课文对话,播放录音。
6、跟着录音朗读单词,纠正读音。
(三)趣味操练 (Practice)
1、巩固已学单词,我两遍,你三遍;我一遍,你不读。
2、let`s make a new chant.
3、说说看。
操作:让一个学生问:用英语描述某个人的模样和特征,让大家猜。看谁描述的恰当、准确,看谁猜得快。
(四)作业
为爸爸、妈妈画像
教师让学生在纸上画出自己的爸爸或妈妈,然后让大家看着画像,由自己来描述爸爸或妈妈的模样。看看谁画的画像与自己的描述是一致的。

教学反思:本课时重点是词汇:hair, thin, strong, quiet,friends. 句型:Who’s he/she? He \She has … He\She is …难点是词汇发音:friends,thin ,quiet;以及句子Who is he?He\She has…She\He is …在教学时通过Amy, Chen Jie, Wu Yifan,Zhang Peng等人的面具清晰呈现新词并让学生理解新词。在单词friends,thin ,quiet的发音上通过单词分解,慢动作示范来教学,有效地降低了难度。只是在操练的说说看环节,如果可以指定几位同学上台,就可以缩短学生选择对象的时间,提高其他同学猜中的几率,激发学生描述的积极性。
