始自点滴做起,细节决定成败

                                            ---------Listenning to two lessons in HuCun Middle school
       Owning to my teacher Mr Wang was on errand today, i was called to replace him to a countryside middle school for teaching investigation.  Initially, i guess there would be a great disparity between middle school and primary school. That's really the truth.
          In conclusion, It has these merit:
         Firstly, teachers' personal qualification. Both teachers speak fluent english in the class though a little chinese translation once in a while. At this point, i think it's worth all the english teachers following. Even though students may not understand all at first, gradually, if teachers persist in speaking, students can get used to it at last. The key is teachers should not quit halfway and overworry about students capability.  These teachers even suggest me provide them more chance for outdoor study. They are thirsty for better self- improvement.
         Secondly, good pronounciation.  Speaking excellent oral english has been a surprise to me, this undoubetedly makes me envy these elder teachers charm. Too marvellous!  Among primary school teachers, i often complain about some teacher broken English and poor pronunciation and intonation. Complain is good for nothing.  The key lies in teachers themselves. Teachers should make specific plan to improve related skills(oral english,standard pronunciation,stick-drawing and so on)
           Last but not least, teaching plan. Seeing their teaching-leading case, evidently, i can come to the conclusion they design and write it by themselves but not search from the internet Ctr+C and Ctr+V.  Especially, in their teaching plan, the first part "self-learning", teachers send it to students in advance and check it one by one.  In doing so, teachers effectively trained  students self-learning ability, and as a feedback to find out what problems exist in students study. Thus, teachers can give more detailed explaination while giving lessons. At this point, teachers should do fully preparation before giving lessons. That is a huge task.  What impressed me most is a teacher said: just for the better of students, we tried all kinds of methods  to design proper teaching-leading cases. Certainly, they often discuss lesson-design  in their english office. What's more, each semester, every english teacher should give two open-classes, then, mutual-comment of lessons.  They keep on doing so all the way since the start of teaching reformation .       
               Two shining points need our teachers imitate though just a small thing. During the 1st class, a vocabulary lesson, There is a step for students to speak and spell the new word by the picture.  A student speak it right but spell it wrong, teacher ask other Ss to correct.  The process is not end. Contrarily, this teacher ask the first student to spell it again till it right, and at last,add a sentence" you should remember it". Such way of doing not only cares students but also respects students .  The 2nd class,  "a self-checking"lesson, namely,surmary class of one unit. there is a step for students to orally present their letter form each group. Teacher arrange all the other students as auditor to discover the mistake in each students' oral presentation and give scores to their discovery.  Such an arrangement stimulate Ss'  attention. Unlike group cooperation in many classes, students just like runaway wild horses.
             In all, English teaching between middle school and primary school has many things in common. Classes in primary school is active and diverse, while in middle school is abundant and defined. But the whole teaching concept is the same.
