learn the best others, do the best self.

 This afternoon, with Mr Wang and Miss Huang came to the No.6 school again. The two teachers showed us two lessons of its own charactoristics. Miss Wu showed PEP 4 Unit two What time is it? Part A review. Miss Yu is PEP 6 Unit Four What a u doing? A let's learn.
     After listening to the lessons, the first problem lingering on my mind is how to design a lesson with smooth transitional process? In my impression, some teacher spend much time speaking some transitional words or do ing some trsanitional activities with little relationship to the upcoming teaching step; which may make listenners and students feel awkward. All these preparation are ineffective as a bridge to connect the knowledge point. Flankly, it's just a waste of time, seriously, it'd mislead students. As far as i'm concerned, i had made the some mistake in my teaching. Perhaps, lookers -on detect more clearly. Such teaching atmophere is universe.  We all know a good lead-in language and activity could arouse learners' interest,activate threadthought. Thus , in teaching, How to get rid of absurd transition.? i think make clear teaching aims is of paramount importance. e.g. teach verbs' present continuous tense(doing the dishes,cooking dinner.....), why not show pictures of somebody who do different actions (cook dinner, draw pictures ...)which ralated to the will learn new words . One the one hand, we are reviewing, on the other hand, we are lead the new from the learned. Then, By the use of ppt,present pictures of people doing certain action, teacher take the example and ask" xxx, what are you doing? answer it "i'm doing...." Or just directly, after the lead-in language(we are now having english class, do you want to know what are our friends/parents/teachers doing now ? . Teacher create a scenario using PPT ---"calling someone :"what are you doing?"
i'm doing..... I wonder if i could have a deeper researching in this sector specifically on how to organize every teaching process.
   The second problem is how to manipulate each teaching step.teachers should not perform the lesson as a catshow, in the T platform. the lesson is going on in form but not  by content . that is similiar to a streamline . Students just have a shallow understanding of the new knowledge, in this case, knowing nothing is better than knowing a little.
     The two teachers' lesson give me chance to learn and reflect. 
      In their class, both of them use TPR method. This is an effective way to boost students' passion for learnning. Though some students are too shy to act and speak, at that moment, i could hear laughters in class. students learned it so happily. However, Ss' shyness tells us, our teachers seldom adopt such funny way in daily teaching. Today Miss Wu 's review lesson gained good comment. At least, she improved a lot comparing with her first class. All the main point are refered to in exercises and activities. For vocabulary: from easy to complex, from noun verb phrases to sentense structures. then, knowledge accumulation by chart. She had spend time planning this lesson though some steps need to adjust. From this point of view, Miss Wu has been spent much time preparing it. "no pains, no gains". so long as one makes effort, i believe there is improvement. Just like me, as long as i can keep on writing some fragmented reflection,i could make progress too. 
       Experience from Miss Huang: lesson selection should according to teachers' charactor. "Let's learn " need variety in activities, teachers should be extroverted.open and flexible. "let's talk" has requirement on practise and extend topic. "read and write", for introverted,conservative teacher. PPT is a supporting tool for teaching. not use it from the beginning to the end. stickstroke should use it in proper curcumstance. on many occasion, chant or self-made chant use it after words teaching, the purpose is for mechanical memorizing. 
       Knowledge needs accumulation day by day. the more one experienced, the more one learnt .
